Warwickshire’s best-kept secret is out as new Speakeasy Bar opens its doors

🍸 Hush, Leamington's new speakeasy bar, transports guests to the Prohibition era with a 1920/30s American vibe. Opening as a private members' bar in January, it offers a five-star service and live music. The space, previously the Robbins Well cellar bar, has been revamped into a 40-meter underground bar after 10 years. Managed by Matthew Nisbets and Bethany Gaunt, the bar showcases 25 crafted cocktails, 13 gins, 13 rums, and 25 whiskeys, alongside over 20 wine selections, including premium Champagnes. The venue, adorned in Art Deco and murals by Gemma Grao, will operate from 5pm-2.30am on Thursdays to Saturdays, and offer private room hires outside core hours.

Marriott Opens Almare, a Luxury Collection Resort, Isla Mujeres, Adult All-Inclusive

🏨 Marriott International, Inc. opened its 500th property in the Caribbean and Latin America on December 25, 2024, in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. The Almare, a Luxury Collection Resort, Adult All-Inclusive, marks the first luxury all-inclusive resort by Marriott in Mexico and the 62nd luxury property in the region. The resort features 109 suites, seven dining venues, and is part of Marriott Bonvoy®. In three years, Marriott's CALA portfolio grew from 300 to 500 properties, with the luxury segment constituting approximately 10% of Marriott's global luxury portfolio. Future openings include Paraiso de la Bonita in Q1 2025 and W Punta Cana in Q2 2025.
