📌 Accor and Mayan Properties are set to expand in Sub-Saharan Africa, announcing plans for five new hotels totaling over 1,100 keys. Signed projects include Novotel Nouakchott in Mauritania with 154 keys and Mövenpick Moroni in Comoros with 159 keys. Accor operates more than 175 properties in Africa, with over 33,000 keys under 15 brands and more than 60 properties in development. This UAE-backed initiative highlights growing interest in Africa’s tourism sector.

🏖 IHG Hotels & Resorts has opened InterContinental Halong Bay Resort in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The resort offers 275 rooms, suites, and villas, along with six restaurants, a spa, and various recreational amenities, including three pools and a kids' club. Culinary highlights include the 10th-floor Roku & Star Bar and Marina Kitchen. The architecture by WATG and interiors by P49Design showcase local heritage. Event spaces include the Tonkin and Cat Ba Ballrooms.

🏖 The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts signed a management agreement with The Godwin Group for The Leela Jaisalmer, opening in 2026 on 30 acres in Rajasthan. Located near Jaisalmer Fort, the resort will have 80 rooms, tented villas, a spa, and a ballroom. It enhances itineraries with The Leela Palace Udaipur and Jaipur. Currently, The Leela operates 13 properties with 3,544 rooms, with plans to expand to 23 properties, including Jaisalmer.

🏨 Signia by Hilton aims to double its portfolio by 2028, with expansions in cities like Tainan, Jaipur, and Cairo. Signia by Hilton Amman, with 272 rooms, opened in January 2025. Tainan’s 344-room hotel opens July 2026, while Jaipur's 216-room property launches in 2028. Cairo will feature a hotel and residences, each with 200 units. In the U.S., San Antonio's 9,000th Hilton hotel opened, and Savannah's 444-room hotel opens mid-2028.

🏗️ HQ Hotels & Residences, partnering with Black Salmon, Boschetti Group, and Constellation Group, announced HQ Residences Miami at 422 NE 29th Street, Edgewater. The 35-story tower will feature 229 condos with eight penthouses. Amenities span 15,756 sq. ft. across two floors, including wellness facilities, a speakeasy, and dining venues. Designed by Arquitectonica, it boasts a diagrid façade and luxurious interiors. Sales are led by The Agency. Located near Wynwood, Midtown, and the Design District.

🌴 Aman is set to open its first Mexican resort, Amanvari, in spring 2026 on the East Cape of Baja California. The resort spans 18 keys and is part of the 1,500-acre Costa Palmas estate. Designed by Heah & Co. and Elastic Architects, it features casitas with views of the Sea of Cortéz and a golf course. Amenities include diverse dining options, an Aman Spa, and access to snorkeling, hiking, and more. Amanvari joins Aman’s portfolio in the Americas.

🏨 Hilton's Signia brand expands in Texas as La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio transitions to Signia by Hilton on October 1, 2025. The Ohana Real Estate-owned and Hilton-managed hotel features 496 rooms, including 34 villas, following a $40 million renovation. Dining includes nine options, with Signature Restaurant in the Michelin Guide Texas 2024. Guests enjoy wellness services, golf, five pools, and 115,000 sq ft for events. This addition joins other Signia locations globally.
