📈 Líbere Hospitality Group reported €12.1m (£10.4m) in H1 2025, up 51.6% from last year. Occupancy averaged 82% from 42,900 reservations. In Spain, they added three sites, totaling 21. International entries included Italy, Greece, and the UK. With 2,146 units in Spain and 283 abroad, they aim for €32m (£27.7m) by year-end. New sites planned in Europe, bolstered by increasing direct bookings and travel demand.

🏨 Capilon Hotels opened the Edwin Hotel, a 60-room townhouse in Earl’s Court, London, near Earl’s Court Station. The property features modern and traditional design elements, including walk-in showers, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and coffee machines. Open-plan ground floor offers breakfast and co-working spaces. Capilon, founded in 2004, targets business and leisure travelers with boutique properties in central London.

📍 JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group sold The Boxer Boston, an 80-key historic hotel in Boston's West End, to Eurostars Hotels Company, part of Grupo Hotusa. Originally built in 1904 and renovated in 2013, it features 80 guestrooms, a fitness center, and the Bulfinch Social restaurant. This is Eurostars’ fifth U.S. hotel. Located near TD Garden and North Station, the purchase supports Eurostars’ expansion in urban tourism.

💡 W Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy, unveiled the $100 million renovation of the 256-room W New York – Union Square in New York City, housed in the historic Guardian Life Building and originally designed by Rockwell Group in 2001. The hotel features a transformed Living Room Café, a new seafood brasserie called Seahorse, the only rooftop bar in Union Square, and 2,587 square feet of meeting space. The hotel aims to blend historic architecture with modern luxury.

🏨 Extended Stay America Premier Suites Jacksonville Airport opens in Charlotte, North Carolina, announced by Mark Williams. The hotel, developed by TMGOC Ventures with Willow Street Capital, is a newly constructed four-story property with 124 rooms and is located three miles from Jacksonville International Airport. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast, and a 24-hour fitness room. The site supports Jacksonville's growing medical, logistics, and aviation sectors, catering to both extended-stay guests and the local community.

🏨 Dreamscape Hospitality is taking over management of The Monarch Hotel in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. The hotel features suites, some with private balconies, two pools, and on-site dining at La Flora Restaurant. It is undergoing renovations and will reopen as a JdV by Hyatt property in early 2026. The location is close to attractions like Butterfly Wonderland and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art.

🏖 Hilton will convert La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas, to Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa, accepting reservations from October 1, 2025. With a recent $40 million, 11-month renovation, the resort features 496 guestrooms, 34 boutique-style villas, five pools, and 115,000 square feet of meeting space. Dining includes nine experiences and amenities like Loma de Vida Spa & Wellness and the La Cantera Golf Club. Owned by Ohana Real Estate Investors, Hilton will manage the resort.

🏨 Hotel Daphne, a 49-room boutique hotel from Bunkhouse Hotels, has opened reservations for January 2026 in Houston Heights, Texas. Hypsi, its restaurant and lounge helmed by chef Terrence Gallivan, will launch in November 2025. Designed by Blanchard A+D with interiors by Bunkhouse, the five-story hotel features a restaurant, bar, library, and custom art. Room rates start at $359. Omar Abreu, the regional general manager, anticipates creating a vibrant community hub.

🏨 Sheraton Boston marks its 60th anniversary with a $100 million renovation, transforming guestrooms, public spaces, and dining venues. The redesign captures Boston’s tavern spirit with updated lobbies, flexible meeting rooms, and a refreshed pool area. Features include Sheraton Signature Beds, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a 24-hour fitness studio. In September, Marriott Bonvoy members access The Sheraton Club, offering meals and concierge support. This renovation aligns with Sheraton’s global transformation across 70+ properties.
