🏨 Los Angeles, California—Pendry West Hollywood has rebranded as The Sun Rose West Hollywood, part of Preferred Hotels & Resorts' L.V.X. Collection. The hotel features 149 rooms, including 37 suites, an Art Deco design, and a 2,300 sq. ft. ballroom for 200 guests. Wolfgang Puck offers a Pan-Asian menu at Merois. Moët Bubbles Bar operates on weekends, and Adam Blackstone is the new creative director. Key amenities include a spa, fitness center, and music venue Live at The Sun Rose.

🍽 The REMI Scottsdale, Autograph Collection, opened in Scottsdale, Arizona, with four food and beverage destinations curated by Alliance Hospitality Group and Riot Hospitality Group. Kauboi offers a Japanese Steakhouse experience with a 40-oz. Mishima Tomahawk Ribeye, while Allegra features a Moroccan-inspired Rooftop Pool & Bar. F/Sixteen, inspired by the F-16 fighter jet, reimagines classic American diner fare. The 9,575 sq. ft. Kauboi Terrace includes private cabanas and a two-sided fireplace.

🏨 Wyndham Hotels and Resorts expanded across Europe, Middle East, Eurasia, and Africa (EMEA) by opening over 60 new hotels in the first half of 2025, increasing its regional portfolio to more than 720 hotels.

🏨 Hyatt opened its first hotel in Estonia and the Baltic States on August 1, 2025. Located in Tallinn's port district, Hyatt Place Tallinn offers 169 rooms with Nordic design. Amenities include the Zoom restaurant, 6 Cocktails panoramic bar, and a 24-hour fitness center. The hotel features an 83 m² conference room. Executive chef Alexander Kaiser focuses on local cuisine. Michel Morauw, Managing Director for Hyatt, emphasizes the brand’s commitment to local experiences for business travelers.

🏨 TRIBE, expanding in Europe, plans new hotels in Paris, Budapest, Montpellier, and Reims. TRIBE Paris Pantin opens in June 2025, featuring 131 rooms and a social hub. TRIBE Montpellier debuts in September with 120 rooms. Budapest Airport's TRIBE opened in May 2025 with 167 rooms. Future sites include Ljubljana and Porto Gaia by 2027. Aiming for sustainability, it seeks BREEAM certification. Over 35 projects underway, TRIBE aims to be a key European hospitality player.

🍴 In late June 2025, Stephan Courseau and Daniele Garcia of Travis Street Hospitality opened Frenchie, a 150-seat, 4,000-square-foot brasserie in Preston Center Plaza, Dallas. This marks their first venture outside the Knox-Henderson area. The menu, directed by Bruno Davaillon, features French bistro classics, while the bar serves cocktails and French wines. Frenchie plans to extend its hours for breakfast. The founders aim to open more locations in similar neighborhoods, blending French and American dining styles.

📍 Vandelay Hospitality Group will open its ninth Hudson House restaurant on August 6 in Frisco, Texas. This marks its seventh location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The original Hudson House launched in Highland Park, Texas, in 2017. Known for its signature cheeseburger and “World’s Coldest Martini,” the new location will feature leather booths, a wraparound bar, and outdoor patio. Vandelay operates 21 restaurants, including Drake’s Hollywood and Anchor Sushi Bar.

💰 Accor's H1 2025 earnings show a 4.6% RevPAR increase, 5.1% revenue growth at constant currency, and the opening of 117 hotels, adding over 15,000 rooms, a net growth of 1.9%. Accor's portfolio includes 854,695 rooms and a pipeline of 241,000 rooms. The Premium, Midscale, and Economy division saw a 2.9% RevPAR growth, while the Luxury and Lifestyle division increased 7.0%. Revenue hit $3.13 billion, with a 2.5% rise, offset by $78.75 million due to currency effects.

🏨 Accor plans to launch its first Ibis Styles hotel in Chișinău, Moldova, later this autumn. The project signifies a €12 million (£10.3 million) investment aimed at bolstering the country's tourism sector.

🍝 Emilia’s Crafted Pasta is opening its 5th restaurant on 7th August on Victoria Street, near Victoria Station, Westminster. This flagship is their largest project, with 100 seats—70 indoors, 30 outdoors (opening in 2026). Founded by Andrew Macleod, who started his journey 9 years ago in East London, the restaurant offers fresh, natural pasta like Casarecce Truffled Cacio e pepe and Béchamel Bolognese. It features a bar inspired by early 20th century Italian design.
