🏠 Mint House expands to Washington, D.C., opening 1010 Vermont, a boutique apartment hotel with 85 units in a renovated 11-story building, located two blocks from the White House. Originally designed by architect Appleton P. Clark Jr. and built in 1926, it became a historic landmark in 2016. Amenities include fully equipped kitchens and a fitness center. This marks Mint House's second opening in 2023, following The Dylin in Madison, WI, with more openings planned for 2025.

🏨 Garner Hotels debuts in Scotland with the opening of Garner Hotel Edinburgh Haymarket, a 195-room property in Edinburgh’s West End, near key landmarks like Haymarket Station and Edinburgh Castle. Launching during Edinburgh's festival season, it offers affordable, comfortable accommodation. For a limited time, £1 per guest stay is donated to Action Against Hunger. Garner Hotels, launched in 2023, now has 23 properties open and 94 in development.

🏨 Marriott International, Inc. partners with Corporación Polaris and Cardedeu to introduce four City Express by Marriott hotels in El Salvador, adding 440 rooms. The properties, aimed at business and leisure travelers, include City Centro by Marriott San Salvador (opening by end of 2025), City Express by Marriott Aeropuerto (late 2026), City Express by Marriott Santa Elena (2026), and City Express Plus by Marriott San Benito (late 2027). El Salvador’s hotel capacity has recently more than doubled.

🏨 The Marcus Portrush, a newly renovated 80-room hotel in Northern Ireland, opened after an £11 million transformation of a Victorian building. Opened ahead of the 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush, it includes an Asian fusion restaurant and Heritage Cocktail Bar. The hotel is expected to generate £1.1 million annually for the local economy and create over 40 jobs. It's part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection, which is expanding in Europe.

🏖 Valor Hospitality Partners is venturing into the Caribbean via a partnership with Cove Bay Developments to manage Plymouth Peninsula Tobago, slated to open in 2027. The luxury project on Tobago's northern coast will integrate modern Caribbean architecture and sustainability. Designed by Herman Morgan, it features apartments, culinary concepts by SAVOR, a beach club, and wellness amenities. The development emphasizes luxury, culture, and sustainability, aligning with regional tourism and community engagement goals.

🍴 On 16 July 2025, Mark Poynton, alongside Gareth and Emma John, will launch The Ancient Shepherds in Fen Ditton, near Cambridge. The restaurant, previously MJP @ The Shepherds, will offer a tasting-only menu with 3, 5, or 7 courses. Mark, who recently earned a Michelin star for Caistor Hall, aims for minimal waste and employee satisfaction with a four-day work week. The 34-seat venue includes a refurbished pub and five rooms for overnight stays.

🏨 In June 2025, Hospitality America opened the 168-room Hotel Avail Rogers, part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection, in Rogers, Arkansas. Located in the Pinnacle Hills neighborhood, it offers proximity to local attractions like the Rogers Convention Center and Topgolf. The hotel features two dining options and over 8,000 square feet of event space. Managed by Hospitality America, it's their second hotel in Arkansas and part of Windsor Aughtry's 14-property portfolio.

🗼 Bob W, a tech-driven hospitality operator, secured a long-term lease on a 7,500 sqm historic police station in Copenhagen's Meatpacking District on 25 June 2025. In partnership with Slättö, they plan to open a 169-unit property in October 2027, expanding Bob W’s portfolio to over 5,000 units. Situated in Vesterbro, the project highlights sustainable design, incorporating restaurants, co-working spaces, and furnished apartments with advanced tech features, supporting their growth strategy in the Nordics.

🏨 Rebel Hotel Company, headquartered in New York, introduces Renegade Hotels, a new focus-service division. Launching with Fairfield Inn Clovis, Comfort Inn Clovis, and the upcoming Hyatt Place Clovis, this division aims to expand quickly, adding at least three hotels within 30 days. CEO Brian Sparacino emphasizes Renegade's independent mindset and performance-first approach, catering to real estate owners seeking flexibility and improved guest experiences.

🏨 HRI Hospitality added the Hilton New Orleans St. Charles Avenue to its portfolio, managing the 252-room hotel. Originally built in 1926 as the Louisiana Masonic Temple, it features 24 suites and 32 executive rooms. Located in New Orleans' Central Business District, the hotel will undergo renovations in early 2026, adding presidential suites and a lobby bar. The on-site restaurant, Luke, offers Creole-inspired cuisine. The hotel boasts over 10,000 sq. ft. of event space.
