🏖 Le Beauvallon will reopen in summer 2025 with 25 sea-facing suites, welcoming individual guests for the first time in nearly a decade. Located in France, overlooking the Bay of Saint-Tropez, the historic hotel is set for a full rebranding under COMO in 2026. The redevelopment includes a four-hectare garden, beach club, and new culinary offerings led by Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno. Originally opened in 1914, it has hosted private events in recent years.

🏨 Delta Hotels by Marriott Açores opened in late May with 60 rooms in São Miguel. This strategic move by Marriott International aims to meet the demand for premium accommodations. The hotel features indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, a gym, and a restaurant. Marriott plans to expand further in Portugal and Spain, including opening a JW Marriott Algarve Palmares Hotel in 2028. By 2026, Marriott aims to add approximately 100 properties in Europe.

🏨 Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa in Wiltshire, England, will join Accor's Emblems Collection in late 2025. Emblems was launched in 2021 with aims to reach 60 properties by 2030. The 500-acre estate features 42 rooms, 9 cottages, and Michelin dining. Lucknam Park will be the first under Emblems' Heritage category, emphasizing luxury and unique character. Accor plans 15 Emblems hotels by 2025, including a new mountain retreat in Athens by 2026.

🏖 Europa Park in Germany, established in 1975, is Europe's second most visited park, drawing 6 million visitors in 2023. In 1995, it opened its first hotel, El Andaluz, with 192 rooms. By 1999, the park expanded with Hotel Castillo Alcazar adding 120 rooms. In 2003, Hotel Colosseo introduced 324 rooms, marking a shift to upscale accommodations. The Santa Isabel hotel, opened later, adopted a wellness focus, further elevating the park's hospitality offerings.

🏠 Maison Bauchart, a new addition by BARNES Hospitality, opened in May 2024 near Trocadéro, Paris. It offers 10 exclusive suites in a 19th-century mansion, ranging from 50 to 145 square meters. BARNES, founded in 1995 by Heidi Barnes, expanded under Thibault de Saint Vincent. Maison Bauchart and future locations aim to redefine luxury hospitality by combining heritage and contemporary design, catering to a niche clientele seeking personalized, upscale hospitality experiences.

🏨 Hotel Indigo London Clerkenwell, opened by Keith Davies, is a 143-room hotel located at Clerkenwell Road, five minutes from Farringdon Station. It features the Wilderness Kitchen, Sabini Bar, and two meeting rooms for 60 guests. IHG plans further UK expansion, including a Hotel Indigo & Suites in Waterloo by 2028. The Hotel Indigo brand has over 50 hotels in Europe, with new locations in Romania and Spain. InterContinental Hotels Group offers 119 job openings in the UK.

🏨 In September 2025, Lyon's Croix-Rousse district will feature a new property with 100 dormitory beds and 30 private rooms. Located in a former school, it offers views of the Basilica of Fourvière. The venue will include a bar-restaurant, co-working space, and event facilities. The People brand emphasizes sustainability and social responsibility, supporting the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque Association. It operates 11 locations in France, including Paris, Caen, and Marseille.

🏨 Hotel Indigo London Clerkenwell opened on 6 June 2025. Located at 2 Clerkenwell Road, near Farringdon station, it offers 143 rooms, nine of which are suites, an all-day dining venue, Sabini Bar, and two meeting spaces. The hotel, owned by the Davies family and operated by Axiom Hospitality, includes the Hat and Feather Pub. Part of IHG's brand since 2019, it’s a new milestone for the family business with a focus on guest experience.

🍴 Blaine McGowan's new American bistro, Ella, opens in Dallas on Tuesday, June 17, in the former Chido Taco Lounge location. The restaurant features a modern, female-forward design with 12-foot chandeliers and a red tiled bar. Julian Shaffer leads the beverage program, while Kyle Farr, ex-Sachet chef, offers dishes like shrimp dumplings and steak tartare. Open Tuesday-Saturday 4-10 p.m., with Customs Speakeasy offering craft cocktails 5 p.m. to midnight.

🍕 Base Face Pizza, founded by ex-jazz musician Tim Thornton, opens its Richmond site at 112 Kew Road on Tuesday, June 17th. Originating from a lockdown pizza oven idea in 2020, Base Face expanded from Hammersmith in June 2021 to Barnes in January 2023, then Putney by February 2024. The new Richmond location seats 30 diners plus 8 outdoor, offering 12 pizzas in 12-inch and 18-inch sizes. Enjoy 50% off pizzas from June 17th to 22nd with reservations.
