🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts has launched Candlewood Suites Berlin Charlottenburg, marking its brand debut in Germany. Located in Berlin's Charlottenburg district, the hotel is designed for long-term travelers with features like kitchen-equipped rooms and a 24/7 marketplace. IHG plans further expansions in Germany, targeting cities including Fürth, Heidelberg, Düsseldorf, Augsburg, and another location in Berlin, in partnership with NOVUM Hospitality.

🏨 The Hyatt Regency Zadar has opened as Croatia's first Hyatt hotel, located on the Adriatic coast near Zadar's UNESCO World Heritage Old Town. With plans to grow the Hyatt Regency brand by 70% in the Balkans by 2027, the hotel features 133 rooms, a 400 m² ballroom, and a 1,155 m² wellness center. The project is a collaboration with Doğuş Group, highlighting Hyatt's focus on popular travel destinations.

📍 Hilton has announced the upcoming opening of Hotel Dali Val d'Europe, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, near Disneyland® Paris this summer. The hotel will feature 94 rooms, a pool, fitness center, and more. Located near La Vallée Village, it attracts over 10 million visitors annually. Positioned in a business hub with 7,500 companies, the hotel is easily accessible via A4 highway and 30 km from Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport. This is Hilton’s 20th Paris-area hotel.

🏠 Permit Room, part of Dishoom, opened its first lodgings in May 2025 at 186 Portobello Rd, London. Housed in the historic Colville Hotel, originally from the mid-1860s, it features a 70-cover bar cafe, a 44-seat dining room, and two guest bedrooms. The venue, designed by Macaulay Sinclair, blends Bombay's bar culture with Victorian elements. More than 30 art pieces by South Asian artists enrich the space, led by Laura Newstead.

🎷 Downstairs At The Grand, Birmingham City Centre’s only late night jazz bar, opens on Friday 16th May, operating Thursdays to Saturdays from 10pm to 2am at The Grand Hotel Birmingham. It features live music with artists like Tom Seals, Dino Baptiste, Chris 'Beebe' Aldridge, Dana Gillespie, and Lisa-Marie Holmes. Joe Spinoza And Friends perform on the opening night, followed by a diverse lineup including The Voice Of Rafael Nannetti and Genevieve Jazz throughout May. 🏨 Wyndham Hotels & Resorts partnered with Le Park Concord Company to launch Super 8 by Wyndham in Saudi Arabia, aiming to open 100 hotels in 10 years, with the first expected in 2026. Locations include Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, Al Khobar/Dammam, and others. The move aligns with Saudi Arabia's tourism goals under Vision 2030, addressing a supply gap in economy accommodations; currently, only 6% of the hotel pipeline is economy/midscale. Le Park Concord manages over 900 rooms and has 13 hotels under development.

🏠 Kronos Homes launches 96 branded residences at Salgados Beach, Algarve, Portugal. The properties, managed by Highgate Portugal, include 42 Westin and 54 Marriott residences, with prices starting at €675,000 and €330,000, respectively.
