🍕 DoubleTree by Hilton introduces "piebird," a restaurant and bar concept, set to open in Nanuet, N.Y. in fall 2025 and in Asheville, N.C. in early 2026. Developed by Hilton's StiR Creative Collective, piebird offers American classics and seasonal pies. Menus include dishes like Chicken Pot Pie and beverages such as the piebird Palmer. The design features warm textures and vintage decor, aiming to reflect DoubleTree's comforting identity. Additional locations are planned, expanding piebird's presence in the U.S.

🏠 Persepolis Investments unveiled Banyan Tree Padilla Madrid Residences in Madrid's Salamanca District, comprising 24 units sized 308-655 sqm, marketed by Colliers and Knight Frank. The 1948 Gutiérrez Soto-designed building, restored by Julio Touza Sacristán, features Caramba Estudio interiors with 1-4 bedrooms, terraces up to 113 sqm, oak wood flooring, underfloor heating, and Portoro marble bathrooms. Amenities include spa, Turkish bath, sauna, pool, gym, and 24-hour security. The project, Banyan Tree's first branded residence in Europe, is near luxury retail and cultural landmarks.

💎 Estée Lauder opened its first Skin Longevity Institute in the Americas at Hacienda AltaGracia, Auberge Resorts Collection, Costa Rica. The institute is part of the resort's Casa de Agua Spa, near a Blue Zone, known for higher life expectancy. Estée Lauder combines Re-Nutriv skincare with longevity research, offering exclusive Re-Nutriv facial treatments featuring SIRTIVITY-LP technology. The opening featured mind coach Manjit Devgun and global Re-Nutriv skincare ambassador Crystal Greene. The institute represents over 15 years of Estée Lauder research.

🏨 Kimpton Main Frankfurt, IHG's luxury lifestyle brand, has entered the German market with the opening of a hotel in Frankfurt's "Four Frankfurt" district. The 155-room property features contemporary design by Waldo Works, echoing the city's Bauhaus heritage. Guests can enjoy amenities like a ground-floor bar MAY, European brasserie ANNI, and rooftop space LAZULI with skyline views. Additional offerings include yoga mats, complimentary bicycles, social hour, and pet-friendly accommodations without extra fees. The hotel's design incorporates Bauhaus style and respects the former Deutsche Bank headquarters' history. An art collection curated by Laura Bartlett features works that reflect Frankfurt's cultural identity. Kimpton Main Frankfurt joins IHG's European portfolio with properties in London, Barcelona, Paris, and upcoming developments in Marbella and the Algarve.

🏖️ Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Beach is near the end of its renovation, rebranding as Courtyard Oceanside Fort Lauderdale Beach with a completion date set for later in May. 🏨 Hilton acquired a controlling interest in Sydell Group and the NoMad brand in April, aiming to expand to 100 hotels. The second NoMad hotel is set to open in Singapore by 2027 with 173 rooms, located on Orchard Road. 🏨 Crestline Hotels & Resorts renovated the TownePlace Suites Suffolk Chesapeake, featuring 72 updated suites with new carpeting, paint, lighting, soft goods, and fresh poolside furniture and umbrellas. The property offers studio to two-bedroom suites, complimentary Wi-Fi, daily breakfast, an outdoor pool, a fitness center with a new wall mural, a 24/7 market, laundry facilities, and self-parking. Managed by Crestline Hotels & Resorts, LLC, the hotel is owned by Apple Hospitality REIT, Inc. It is situated near government facilities, businesses, and recreational sites like golf courses, the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, Colonial Williamsburg, and Virginia Beach.
