Sina Hotels to expand Milan property

🏡 Sina Hotels won a €43-million tender to renovate Galleria Ciro Fontana in Milan, expanding Sina The Gray with 30 additional rooms, a wellness center, and a new restaurant. Post-2027 renovation, the hotel's room count will exceed 52. The 1958-founded hotel chain, with 11 luxury properties, is overseen by Bernabò Bocca. Architect Guido Ciompi will lead the project, increasing hotel space by over 21,500 square feet and adding amenities like a spa, fitness center, and panoramic restaurant.

Hotel Indigo Auckland opens in Midtown tower

🏨 Hotel Indigo Auckland, a 225-room establishment, has opened in New Zealand, featuring heritage-listed and new construction. The hotel showcases local artistry and includes a dining outlet, Bistro Saine, led by executive chef Yutak Son. A New ‘Nonna’ Menu at Hilton Lake Como’s Streetfood Pop-Up

🌮 From 16 April to mid-October 2025, Hilton Lake Como will host 'Streetfood', featuring an Italian market in Taffeta garden. Executive Chef Stefano Ghielmetti introduces a 'Nonna menu' with traditional dishes. Guests can buy local produce, including olive oil, Terazza 241 gin, and Streetfood pasta. The market, offering live cooking stations, an Aperol Spritz cart, a Piaggio Ape Pizza cart, and a Gelato cart, is open 6pm-midnight, Friday-Tuesday, and daily in June-August. Rooms start at €350/night.

Everhome Suites Continues Expansion With Three New Hotel Openings

🏨 Choice Hotels International announced three Everhome Suites openings in Huntsville, Alabama; Chandler, Arizona; and Temecula, California. The company now operates 10 Everhome Suites nationally, with plans for 25 by year-end and over 65 in the pipeline. Everhome Suites Huntsville features 98 guestrooms, Chandler has 114, and Temecula boasts 117. The brand, contributing to a 10% year-over-year growth in Choice Hotels’ domestic extended-stay rooms, represents about half of the economy and midscale extended-stay hotels opened or under construction in 2024.

Blue Orchid to convert Atlas House into luxury hotel

🏦 UK's vacant Atlas House on King Street, Cheapside, London, first built in 1836, will be redeveloped into a luxury boutique hotel by Blue Orchid Hospitality. Owned by Integrity International Group and led by Tony Matharu, the Grade II-listed building will feature 104 guest rooms, a restaurant, cocktail bar, health club, spa, swimming pool, gym, and flexible public workspaces. Aiming for a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and Biodiversity Net Gain, the redevelopment focuses on restoration to preserve the site's character. The hotel adds to Blue Orchid’s London portfolio, including Tower Suites and 55 Broadway.
