Corinthia Hotels to venture into Dubai with luxury hotel, residences tower

```html 🏗 ``` Corinthia Hotels, in collaboration with Dubai General Properties, is developing a 500-metre-tall mixed-use skyscraper on Sheikh Zayed Road near the Museum of the Future in Dubai. The two-tower structure, connected by a sky lobby 200 metres above ground and designed by AtkinsRéalis, will host the five-star Corinthia Dubai hotel, serviced penthouses, and apartments. The property boasts the world's highest outdoor pool over 500 metres, multiple pools, five restaurants, bars, a private club, and a 330,000 square metre event space with panoramic views. Completion is targeted for 2030.

Siblu strengthens its presence in France and the Netherlands

🏖 Siblu acquires Camping De Tol in Nunspeet, Netherlands, with plans to expand from 173 pitches and 119 mobile homes to 260 mobile homes, and Domaine Sous Les Pins in Charente-Maritime, France, increasing Siblu La Pignade Village's capacity from 487 to 580 pitches. The acquisitions strengthen Siblu's Dutch presence, which includes five other villages, and French market. In 2025, Siblu aims to reopen its 35 villages and host over 13,000 owners and 500,000 vacationers.

Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu Marks the Hyatt Centric Brand Debut in Nepal

🏠 USA, Chicago, Illinois - February 21, 2025 - Hyatt Hotels Corporation and City Hotel Limited announced the opening of the first Hyatt Centric branded hotel in Nepal, Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu. The property, after extensive renovation, offers 153 guestrooms, free Wi-Fi, over 8,600 square feet of event space, a vibrant lobby, the Centric Lounge, NOON restaurant, and ZING Sky Pool Bar & Deck. Executive Director Akshay Golyan and General Manager Varun Talwar aim to immerse guests in Kathmandu's culture.

Mandarin Oriental to open residences, resort in the Caribbean

🏖️ Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group's first Caribbean resort, Mandarin Oriental Residences, Grand Cayman, broke ground earlier this month and is expected to be completed by early 2028. Developed by Melkonian Capital Management and RAL Companies, this ultra-luxury project includes a 91-key resort and 42 residences priced at $6 million each. Over 40% of the residences were sold through word of mouth before the public sales launch. Set on 70 acres with 2,700 feet of oceanfront, the residences offer ocean views, private terraces, and access to amenities like a spa and infinity pools. The group operates 41 hotels, 12 residences, and 26 homes in 26 countries.

Hilton expands its lifestyle portfolio in Athens with over 500 new rooms

🏛 Hilton announced on February 20, 2025, their expansion in Greece with three new hotels in Athens by 2026, including Adia Aluma Athens (Curio Collection) and Anise Aluma Athens (Tapestry Collection), both opening in 2025, and Skylark Aluma Athens (Tapestry Collection) in 2026. Adia Aluma Athens will offer 215 rooms, Anise Aluma Athens 99 rooms, and Skylark Aluma Athens 191 rooms. This expansion adds 500 rooms to Hilton's Athens portfolio, which currently includes 10 hotels like Hilton Garden Inn Athens Syggrou Avenue and Lindian Village All-Inclusive Resort Rhodes. Hilton is also launching Conrad Athens in 2025, introducing the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand to Greece.

limehome continues its expansion in Spain and enters the province of Cadiz

🏠 German company limehome opened 20 new digitalized tourist apartments in a refurbished historic building at 15 Marqués de Casa Domecq Street, Jerez de la Frontera. The establishment, formerly Santa Lucía offices, includes 14 suites for 2-4 people, and 6 one-bedroom apartments for up to 4 people. Limehome's expansion in Spain aligns with their strategy to digitalize the tourism sector. Their European growth saw 800 new apartments in Q1 2024, increasing their portfolio by nearly 14% to 6,800 units, with properties in Austria, Portugal, Spain, Italy, València, Porto, Vitoria-Gasteiz, and Graz.

Sandpiper Hospitality Opens Two Extended-Stay Properties

📌 Sandpiper Hospitality opened two new hotels: ECHO Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham in Richmond, Virginia, and Extended Stay America Premier Suites in Bradenton, Florida, in late January. The Richmond hotel features full kitchens, Smart TVs, a fitness center, laundry facilities, and EV charging stations. The Bradenton hotel has 124 guestrooms with kitchens, WiFi, and breakfast. Sandpiper plans to add 15 new hotels in 2025 and currently manages 16 different brands.

Live! Casino & Hotel opens in Bossier City

🎰 Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana opened as the first land-based casino in the Shreveport-Bossier market with a $270 million investment. Expected to generate $35 million in gaming tax revenues for Bossier City and $168 million for the state in five years. The casino features over 47,000 square feet of gaming space, 1,000+ slot machines, 40+ table games, and a DraftKings Sportsbook. Amenities include a 549-room hotel, a 25,000-square-foot event center, and a 31-site RV park. The Cordish Companies' project has created over 1,550 jobs, including 750 construction and 800 permanent positions. The development is part of a national expansion with over $1 billion of construction near completion in the U.S.
