WorldHotels Welcomes New Properties To Its Esteemed Crafted Collection

🏨 WorldHotels, under the BWH Hotels global network, extends its WorldHotels Crafted collection in North America and Europe. Ron Pohl, President of WorldHotels, highlights the authentic, local craftsmanship experiences these hotels offer. The expansion includes City Hotel Gouda in the Netherlands with a range reflecting Gouda's heritage. Elm Hurst Inn & Spa, since 1872 in Ontario, Canada, offers 45 rooms, three luxury suites, a spa, and event venues. Flaner Hotel in Warsaw, Poland, features over 70 rooms in 1920s Art Deco style and ample parking. Hotel Croydon in Miami Beach, Florida, has 104 modern rooms, a rooftop sun deck, and is close to major attractions. Idlewyld Inn & Spa, built in 1878 in London, Ontario, provides 21 unique rooms and a gourmet restaurant. Saga Hotel Oslo in Norway offers elegant rooms and studio apartments with breakfast and a lobby bar.

Sonesta Miami Airport Celebrates Completion of Multi-Million-Dollar Renovation

🏠 Miami, Florida—Sonesta Miami Airport completed a multi-million-dollar, five-month renovation in June 2024, featuring a ribbon-cutting with local dignitaries and brand executives. The design team Dileonardi and HITT contractor revitalized 309 guestrooms and public spaces, including a rooftop pool, private cabanas, a 24/7 fitness center, and a new restaurant, Tailwinds. The hotel offers 7,400-square-feet of event space, with the Royal Palm Ballroom accommodating up to 160 guests, and connecting rooms for families or groups.

Four Seasons and Extell pair on new Deer Valley resort and residential development

🏖️ Four Seasons is partnering with Extell Development Company to create a new resort in Deer Valley, Park City, Utah, marking North America's first luxury alpine village in over 40 years. The project, led by ODA Architecture, will offer 134 guestrooms, suites, and 123 private residences (1-6 bedrooms, 1,200-7,000 square feet) with ski-in/ski-out access. Additionally, 55 residences will be above the resort and an adjacent building will house 68 owner-exclusive units. The Deer Valley’s East Village will also feature a skier services facility, retail, culinary experiences, and après venues. The resort is positioned 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport.

🎨 Designer Helle Mardahl opens flagship store in Copenhagen's historic Frederiksstaden district, formerly a royal jeweller's shop. The interior combines the building's traditional architectural elements with Mardahl's modern, candy-inspired glassware. Mardahl collaborated with File Under Pop for the store's color palette, featuring soft shades and dusty blue curtains contrasted by flamingo-pink double doors.
