Briefs: Rosewood opens luxury resort in Austria; IHG adds to Indian portfolio
🍇 Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, a 15th-century castle in Salzburg, Austria, has been transformed into a luxury hotel by Rosewood and opened with 98 rooms, including 42 suites and six chalets. The property offers a 1,500-square-meter spa, guided excursions, and a beach club. Rosewood Vienna opened in 2022, adding to the 33 hotels in Rosewood's global portfolio across 21 countries. IHG is set to debut in Kashmir, India, with voco Srinagar, a 95-room hotel opening in Q4 2026, expanding IHG’s Indian presence to 45 operating hotels and 50 more expected within five years. Soho House launched its first South American property in São Paulo, Brazil, with 32 rooms, a gym, and a rooftop pool bar. The Westin San Diego Bayview completed a $20 million renovation of its 436 rooms and 30,000 square feet of meeting spaces, managed by Aimbridge Hospitality with HVSDesign's architecture.
