🏨 Lamington Group secured a £41.75m loan from Coutts Commercial for a net zero hometel in York, their first in Northern England. The 116-room Room2 York, opening spring 2027, will feature reclaimed materials, solar panels, and CO₂-controlled ventilation. Lamington aims for 5,000 UK rooms by 2030, focusing on sustainable design. As a B Corporation, it plans further Room2 sites in Cambridge, Edinburgh, Manchester, and Shepherd's Bush.

🏨 Radisson expands in Italy by opening the Radisson Blu Hotel in Florence, positioned near the historic center. The hotel offers extensive accommodations, leisure facilities, and significant conference infrastructure, enhancing Florence's hospitality landscape.

🏖 Minor Hotels signs for Anantara Ushuaia Patagonia Resort to open in early 2028 in Ushuaia, Argentina. Situated where the Andes meet the Beagle Channel, this 60-room resort will feature luxury dining, a spa, and meeting facilities. Part of Costa Susana’s carbon-neutral development, it's near Tierra del Fuego National Park. Managed by Fideicomiso Urbanización Monte Susana, the property aligns with Argentina’s rise as a premier leisure spot. It offers proximity to iconic attractions and the Ushuaia International Airport.

🗺 Hotel Cusco La Paccha Affiliated by Meliá opens in Cusco at 3,400 meters above sea level on January 1, 2026. Located 10 minutes from Plaza de Armas, the 167-room hotel sits by La Paccha de Pumaq Chupan fountain. It's near Qoricancha Museum and San Pedro train station to Machu Picchu. Meliá expands its Peruvian presence, joining Meliá Lima and INNSiDE Lima Miraflores, offering a strategic Lima-Cusco route blending culture and nature.

🏝️ Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa, located in Fernandina Beach, Florida, is undergoing a major renovation to be completed by spring 2026. This transformation will include food and beverage upgrades, artistic murals, and a restored Oak Marsh Golf Course. By November 2025, Palmetto Press and Surfcaster will open, with Nonna Mia following in December. The spa will reopen in January. Guest rooms and the conference center will be fully refurbished by spring 2026.

🏖️ Slackline Moab, Outset Collection by Hilton, located at 889 N Main St, Moab, Utah, is opening later this month. Positioned near Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, it serves as an ideal basecamp for hiking, biking, and stargazing. 🏨 Hotel Maison Maastricht Centrum, a 58-room property featuring a bar, patisserie, and fitness center, has opened in The Netherlands in a former hotel school. It joins Accor's Handwritten Collection as the fourth hotel in the Benelux region, alongside Maek Hotel Antwerp Central, Hotel Ter Zand, and Le Marin Rotterdam City. As of 2025, the collection includes over 30 hotels, with an additional 35 in development, expanding in Hungary, Romania, Greece, France, Belgium, and The Netherlands.
