🏨 Ruby Group, led by CEO Michael Struck, opens Ruby Giulia in Rome, Italy, near Piazza Venezia. The 5,300 sq. meter former Ministry of the Interior is now a 164-room hotel. Located in the Monti district, it offers a 24/7 bar, café, and rooftop terrace. Rooms range from 17-31 sq. meters, starting at €170 per night. In early 2025, Ruby Hotels joined IHG, enhancing distribution and loyalty programs.

🎲 In August, Recreation at Moxy NYC Downtown, located in Manhattan's Financial District, unveiled a redesigned space. Originally crafted by Stonehill Taylor, the refresh incorporates American walnut finishes and mid-century design elements. Led by Heather Maloney of Definition Design BK, the redesign emphasizes historical authenticity with custom furnishings by Workshop Hospitality. Recreation now offers updated menus featuring mini martini pairings and boxed sushi, enhancing the vintage sports club atmosphere.

🏨 Ennismore will open The Hoxton in Madrid's historic Plaza de Santa Ana by 2026. This 192-room hotel will be their second in Spain after Barcelona's 2022 launch. Architect Jesús Carrasco-Muñoz y Encina designed the modernist building, with refurbishment by Petra AM and Urban Input Group. Features include a coffee bar, lounge, trattoria, rooftop bar, and event space. Part of Ennismore's expansion, upcoming locations include Oslo, Kraków, and Hamburg, plus Melbourne and Nashville.

🏡 Adagio and Sergic announced a partnership on November 2025 to manage nine properties in France, increasing Adagio's apartments by 8%, totaling 1,152 units. The agreement includes eight Adagio Access and one Ibis Styles site, with synergies from Accor. This aligns with Adagio's FIRST 2030 plan to lead the aparthotel market. Sergic aims to enhance mixed-use management. Both companies aim to revitalize urban centers and cater to medium and long-stay guests with high-quality services.

🏨 Choice Hotels EMEA is expanding by adding 50 Quality Suites hotels in 41 new French destinations, totaling over 4,800 rooms. This expansion increases their French portfolio to 107 hotels from 57. The initiative follows a 20-year strategic agreement with Zenitude Groupe signed in April 2024. The collaboration introduces co-branded concepts and emphasizes long-stay comfort. The strategic locations focus on transport hubs and business centers, catering to diverse travelers and embracing new hospitality trends for sustainable growth.

🏠 Maslow’s will open its third members’ house in early 2026, spanning two floors in The Kensington Building, London. The location includes coworking spaces, private offices, a café, gym, wellness studio, and meeting rooms. The Kensington Building boasts a BREEAM Excellent rating and runs on 100% renewable electricity, with WELL certification in pursuit. Maslow’s Kensington will join sister locations at 1 Warwick, Soho, and Mortimer House, Fitzrovia.

🛑 Travelodge opened a new 72-room hotel in Beckenham, London, part of a six-story redevelopment by Dunward Properties. This hotel features modern designs and created 14 jobs. Travelodge now operates over 80 hotels in London and recently opened another 68-room hotel in Harwich, Essex. The Harwich site includes drive-thrus and EV charging points. Travelodge has 630 hotels and 47,000 rooms in the UK, Ireland, and Spain, with 65% of rooms upgraded to the new design.

🏨 Located in Vienna's diplomatic quarter, the Hotel Savoyen Vienna will transform into a Sheraton, featuring 310 rooms and 1,000-square-metre ballroom. The renovation is part of a partnership between MHP Hotel AG, Mechelgasse 1 GmbH, and Marriott International. MHP aims to enhance its Austrian presence, with expected revenue of €180 million this fiscal year. The redesign targets business and conference travelers, leveraging Vienna's dynamic tourism growth. BWM Designers & Architects will lead the design efforts.

🏨 Oxford Collection opened Hotel Katerina in Chico, California, located at 1930 Baney Lane. The four-story hotel features 112 rooms and over 83,000 square feet, including more than 5,000 square feet of event space. Highlights include the Rancher's Daughter restaurant and a rooftop bar. It joins 16 other properties in Oxford Collection's portfolio across Oregon, Washington, California, and Idaho. Key amenities include an outdoor pool, fitness center, and unique in-room touches like Crosley turntables and pour-over kits.
