‘Severe’ supply chain issues holding back…

The backlog has reached 17,000 new aircraft, taking an estimated 14 years to fulfill at current rates, doubling the 2013-2019 average. The global fleet's average age has hit 14.8 years, with sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) making up only 0.3% of jet fuel production and 11% of renewable fuel in 2024. Airlines' net margin stands at 3.6%.

BizAway reports 57% increase in business…

The UK, with a 31.3% investment rate in business travel in 2024 and expected spending of $51.5 billion, is a focus for BizAway. BizAway's BizzyFlex service saw a 152.81% increase in usage for cancellations with refunds. The company also saved clients an average of 15.5% on hotels and observed a 63% growth in train travel, reflecting a push for sustainability. Technology and sustainability investments are critical for 2025, with 49% of professionals planning to enhance tech spending.
