Middle East Hotel Construction Pipeline Reaches New All-Time High for Projects
🏨 According to the Q3 2025 Middle East Construction Pipeline Trend Report from Lodging Econometrics, the region's hotel construction pipeline reached 659 projects/163,816 rooms, an 8% increase in projects and 9% in rooms YOY. Saudi Arabia leads with 349 projects/94,287 rooms, and Riyadh tops city counts with 90 projects. By year-end, 65 new hotels (14,353 rooms) are slated to open. Projections for 2026 include 96 new hotels/20,169 rooms.
