CoStar: Holiday Calendar Shift Impacts Weekly U.S. Hotel Industry Performance
🏨 In the U.S. hotel industry, through Nov. 16, 2024, occupancy rose by 1.5% to 63.3%, ADR fell by 1.1% to $154.96, and RevPAR increased by 0.4% to $98.11, from the same period in 2023. Tampa led with occupancy surging to 87.2% (up 30.3%), ADR at $176.73 (up 17.4%), and RevPAR at $154.16 (up 52.9%), driven by Hurricane Milton. Las Vegas and San Francisco saw sharp RevPAR declines of 47.1% to $136.28 and 27.8% to $139.74, respectively, impacted by F1 calendar change.
